Brian Kelly was not happy with Chris Hilton Jr. on Saturday. The third-year head coach at LSU ripped into his freakishly athletic wide receiver during an explicit tirade on the sideline after failing to convert a wide-open first down.
ABC captured the entire exchange, which aired live in its entirety on national television.

Chris Hilton Jr., a former four-star recruit, is one of the top athletes on the team. He was expected to be one of the top pass-catchers for the Tigers in 2024 and there as a lot of hype surrounding his potential during spring ball and fall camp. Unfortunately, a foot injury forced him to miss a large chunk of the season.
Now that Hilton is back on the field, his timing continues to present a major issue. Specifically on jump balls.
The 6-foot-0, 192-pound wide receiver is able to elevate over the vast majority of defensive backs with his ridiculous vertical. However, he repeatedly times his jumps to where he is coming back down to the ground as the ball reaches its peak. It cost LSU two big gains against Texas A&M and a potential touchdown against Alabama.
Unfortunately, the frustrating trend reared its ugly head once again during the first half of Saturday’s game in Gainesville. Hilton mistimed a great jump ball from Garrett Nussmeier deep down the field and could not hold on. The perfect pass fell incomplete on account of the wide receiver.
Kelly did not hold back his feelings about the drop. ABC’s cameras followed Hilton to the sideline, where he was met by his very angry head coach. The latter reamed out the former.

But…
Sure did look like Brian Kelly told Chris Hilton this on the sideline…
“Don’t walk away from me! You are f**king uncoachable. Who the f**k do you think you are?”#LSU #Florida #SEC pic.twitter.com/L9v5sr5OUf
It appeared as though Brian Kelly told Chris Hilton that he is uncoachable or asked him to be coachable.
“Don’t walk away from me! You are f—— uncoachable. Who the f— do you think you are?”
OR
“Don’t walk away from me! Be f—— coachable! Who the f— do you think you are?”
Either way, the 63-year-old’s choice of words was not kind. He was furious.
