It took Brooke Hogan several days to gather her thoughts and issue a statement about the passing of her father Hulk Hogan. On Tuesday, she gave her first live interview since the WWE Hall of Famer’s death on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show and revealed several things that no one had ever heard before about her late father.
In one of her messages following her dad’s death, Brooke Hogan wrote, “I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens.” On Tuesday, she revealed some secrets about that “real version” of her dad.
The conversation began with Bubba mentioning that he hadn’t spoken to Brooke Hogan since 2011 and stating that he was “afraid to where this [conversation] could potentially go.”
After Brooke reassured him that she wasn’t made at him, the two had a brief conversation about the wild claims Brooke and her mother Linda Hogan were lobbing at one another back in March.
Brooke reveals Bubba wasn’t the one who leaked that infamous tape
Following that conversation, Brooke Hogan revealed that she knew Bubba wasn’t the person who leaked her father’s infamous sex tape.
“I’ve been watching you take the heat for it and I’ve been hearing you, you know, say sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry,” Brooke said. “And I know that you have a guilty conscience, but my dad told me the the real story. That it was your home files, when you got divorced, that you ran down off your off your security footage thing when Heather had to get all of her stuff out of the house. And he said that somebody, one of your employees had it and that they took it from you and he knew it wasn’t you.”
Hulk told her he had concerns about marrying his third wife
Brooke Hogan also mentioned during her conversation that her dad “expressed some concerns” about getting married to his third wife, Sky Daily. Brooke claimed that at one point he even told her, “I’m trying to figure a way out of this thing.” She also said he expressed concern about Daily being a Scientologist.
Hulk Hogan’s daughter also echoed something that Eric Bischoff said following the wrestling star’s passing and that was that if he had stayed with his second wife, Jennifer McDaniel, his death “wouldn’t have happened” because she took such good care of him.
She shares questions about how her father died
Another bombshell Brooke Hogan dropped during the interview had to do with her father’s supposed secret history with leukemia, which the public didn’t know about until the release of the medical examiner’s report.
“For me, the no autopsy and the leukemia out of nowhere hits me as B.S.” She then added, “I would be surprised that a surgeon would work on somebody with leukemia or somebody that would see a high white blood cell count and not do further investigation first.”
