Caitlin Clark just cannot help herself. She is unable to attend a sporting event without chirping at the referee.
It does not matter if it she is playing or if she is just a fan.
Clark, the biggest star in WNBA history, is known to be a vocal player when she is on the court. There is not a game that goes by where the reigning Rookie of the Year does not get on the officials about something. Although she oftentimes has a valid complaint, it reached the point last season that opposing fans were outraged by her complaining.
Clark did (and does) not care. She was (and is) outraged by inconsistent foul calls that frequently had a significant impact on the outcome. WNBA referees often received an earful from the No. 1 overall pick.
That is not exclusive to the W!
Caitlin Clark pulled up to the Big Ten women’s basketball tournament last month and sat courtside to watch her alma mater, Iowa. You might’ve thought she was a coach if you did not know better! Especially with how she talked to the officials. You could at one point see her yell “that’s a bad call!”

The former Hawkeyes star later gave her seal of approval to the officiating crew.

That was at the beginning of March. Now it is NBA Playoff season.
Caitlin Clark is a good friend of Tyrese Haliburton and loves to support the Pacers. She was in attendance for the first round series against the Bucks earlier this week to throw t-shirts alongside Aliyah Boston and Kesley Mitchell. Even then, it was impossible for her to leave the referees alone!
Forget Angel Reese and Chennedy Carter. There is no better rivalry than Caitlin Clark vs. the officials. Her inability to leave them alone could not be funnier. It does not matter who is playing or what sport. It does not matter the opponent. If one of her teams is involved, she is going to chirp!
