If you scroll through Sophie Cunningham’s Instagram, you’ll see that her All-Star Indiana Fever teammate Caitlin Clark is one of her most consistent supports on Instagram, virtually liking all of Cunningham’s posts. Her latest pic, however, is apparently a bit too racy for Clark’s stamp of approval.
On Instagram, Sophie Cunningham shared a photo of herself posing on the side of a black pick-up truck in black leather booths, a black leather jacket, black cowboy hat, and a black thong. Cunningham’s teammate Caitlin Clark caught wind of the post, and while she commented on it, she said that she “can’t like it.”

“Back when my knee was healthy,” Cunningham captioned the photo, which has racked up over 116,000 likes at the time of this writing.
“Jeez Sophie,” Clark said in one comment. “Can’t like this,” she added in another.
The 29-year-old Cunningham has clearly become fast friends with Clark during her first season with the Indiana Fever. Prior to the 2025 season, Cunningham spent the first six seasons of her career with the Phoenix Mercury after being drafted by the team in the 2nd round of the 2019 WNBA Draft.
While Clark has missed a large portion of the 2025 season due to injury, when she was on the floor earlier in the campaign, Cunningham was acting as something for an enforcer for Clark on the court.
Prior to also being sidelined for the remainder of the season with an MCL injury, Cunningham appeared in 30 games this season and averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
As for Clark, she has appeared in just 13 games this season, last taking the floor for the Indiana Fever on July 15. In those 13 games, Clark averages 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
The Fever have seven games left on their schedule before the conclusion of the WNBA regular season the week of September 8.
