It’s barely been a week since the start of the regular season in the NBA and we have our first candidate for flop of the year. Late in the Mavs-Celtics game Chandler Parsons grabbed a rebound with six seconds left in the game, began to clear out with his elbow and completely whiffed Marcus Smart by a mile. Yet Smart flopped like a fish and looked at the refs for a call, atleast the refs didn’t buy it and Smart can look forward to a 5K fine from the NBA .
