As they often do on their Calm Down podcast, NFL broadcasters Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews answered some questions from their listeners this week.
Also, as they often do, Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews revealed some information about themselves as they answered those questions.
One highlight from this week’s mailbag occurred when a listener wrote, “Met a guy, said he was attracted to me, but completely ignores me.”
“Well, that’s just, like, being young, and, I don’t… that’s just juvenile to me,” Thompson responded.
“If he said he likes you, then he needs to pursue you.
“I’m all about, make a f—— effort. Like, I’m done, like, meeting you halfway on that initial thing.”
“This is where, like, yes, we’re independent women and all this kind of stuff, but I’m very much like, old school, when it comes to, like, I want the man to pursue me. I want the man to set up the date, at the beginning,” Charissa continued.
“Once you’re in the relationship, that’s fine. Like, if you pick up the check or whatever, but I need some chivalry. I need you to open the door. I need you to do all that stuff.
“So if this guy’s now pretending like he’s not into you, I’m bored. Next.”
“Don’t waste your time,” Erin Andrews said, jumping into the discussion. “I had people do that to me back in my dating days. ‘Oh my God, I liked you so much. It was so attra…’ yeah, a couple of them. And, but I never, no! You know how much time I wasted on that crap?! No. Move it or lose it.”

Erin Andrews has been married to former hockey player Jarret Stoll since 2017. Unfortunately, Charissa Thompson has been married twice, but is currently single, so she is still having to deal with the dating life and the rumors that come with it when you’re famous.
As for any potential suitors, now they all know what she expects (as well as the one question neither she nor Erin Andrews ever want to hear while dating someone).
