Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, posted the most insane scorecard I have ever seen at a golf tournament in Florida on Memorial Day. He posted only three pars in his final round of 18 and they were all on holes listed as a Par-3
Really think about that for a second… The 16-year-old either went up or down on 15 holes and only stayed consistent on the easiest three holes of the course.
Woods, by nature of his last name, is the biggest name in amateur golf at the young age of 16 years old. Although he is still a few years away from a collegiate career, he has already shown flashes of what he can do and will be during various pro-am tournaments with his father over the years.
Needless to say, Charlie Woods is already very good and will only continue to get better. His latest result at the Team TaylorMade Invitational will put your brain in a pretzel. The American Junior Golf Association event took place at Streamsong Black, adjacent to the most fun new golf course in America. It is a the Par-72 championship course. Woods ultimately finished in a tie for 13th out of 71 players after his first round.
However, Woods made only three pars over 18 holes. His scorecard is bananas.
- Hole 1 — Par 5 — Birdie, 4
- Hole 2 — Par 4 — Bogey, 5
- Hole 3 — Par 4 — Triple bogey, 7
- Hole 4 — Par 5 — Birdie, 4
- Hole 5 — Par 3 — Par, 3
- Hole 6 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 7 — Par 3 — Par, 3
- Hole 8 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 9 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 10 — Par 4 — Bogey, 5
- Hole 11 — Par 4 — Bogey, 5
- Hole 12 — Par 5 — Eagle, 3
- Hole 13 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 14 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 15 — Par 3 — Par, 3
- Hole 16 — Par 4 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 17 — Par 3 — Birdie, 3
- Hole 18 — Par 5 — Bogey, 5
Here is how it looked for the more visual folks:

Charlie Woods shot a two-under 70 without making a single par on a Par-4 or Par-5 hole. I cannot say I have ever seen that before. I’m not sure we will ever see it again! The statistical probability of this scorecard has to be low. And yet, Woods battled his way back from a triple bogey on three to put himself just three strokes off of the lead going into the second round. Super impressive.
