Chicago Guitarist Blasts The Star-Spangled Banner Out Of His Window After The Cubs Win The World Series

Back in 2015, when the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup, guitarist Jaik Willis threw an amp in the window of his Wicker Park apartment and blasted the Star-Spangled Banner for people celebrating in the street below. With Chicagoans celebrating the Cubs historic first World Series win in a century, Willis rose to the occasion and repeated his tribute to America, now working a little “Sweet Home Chicago” into his set.

National Anthem begins around the 3:45 mark in the video above. It’s a moment that will make your heart swell a couple sizes with pride.
