Chiefs’ Gracie Hunt Gets Backlash For Posing In Nothing But A Kobe Bryant Jersey

24-year-old Gracie Hunt, the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs’ owner Clark Hunt, is getting backlash for sharing some photos of herself posing in just a Kobe Bryant Lakers jersey.

“Mindset is everything…make it Mamba,” Hunt wrote in the caption to the photos with the hashtags #MambaMentality, #Mentality, #BetterToday, #BetterEveryDay, #Progress, #Inspo, and #LevelUp.

It’s not readily apparent why Gracie Hunt chose October 26, 2023 to share these photos, but based on several of the comments on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, she probably didn’t expect people to hate on them.

“Yes all mindset and nothing to do with makeup, photography, and hours of prep, to take pictures of yourself of all things,” one person commented.

“I wonder how many times Kobe – in the pursuit of inspirational greatness, decided his great achievement of the day would be to post pictures of himself.”

“Get a job!” someone else wrote.

“More stripper pictures from Gracie,” read another complaint. “Do something meaningful please.”

For the record, Gracie Hunt is a NFL brand ambassador who also works in public relations for the Chiefs while pursuing her Master’s degree in sports management at the University of Kansas.

She has also been a spokesperson for the Texas Dept. of Transportation, named Miss Kansas USA, and made it to the semifinals of the 2021 Miss USA competition.

In addition to all of that, she judges the Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader tryouts, runs a non-profit organization called Breaking Barriers Through Sports and is a board member for the Special Olympics in South Texas and South Kansas.

So, yeah, she does a lot of meaningful things.

People also seem to enjoy the many photos, like this set with the Kobe Bryant jersey, on her popular social media accounts.
