Former NFL wide receiver Roddy White has found himself at the center of controversy.
On Saturday, the Clemson Tigers were blown out by the Georgia Bulldogs.
During the game, White shared that he believed Clemson was losing because they had “too many white dudes” on the field.
Clemson got way to many white dudes on the field on offense this ain’t them. U mean to tell me u only got one black dude out there making plays that’s a recruiting problem

Former NFL player Roddy White claims Clemson’s problem is they have too many white players.
Imagine the outrage if a white person claimed a team’s problem was having too many black players. https://t.co/lhxWPUmsYn

White would eventually apologize for his comments.
“I am getting a lot of blow back for the to many white players comment I apologize if someone thought I was being racist which everybody around me knows I’m not. I looked out there and 10 of the 11 players were white I can’t recall ever seeing a Clemson team like that.”
