Conor McGregor is still in the UFC despite online rumors. On Thursday afternoon, several UFC roster tracker accounts revealed that McGregor had mysteriously been removed from the UFC’s active roster list on their website.

The news was a bit confusing, considering that McGregor had recently been drug tested for a UFC return.

According to Uncrowned’s Ariel Helwani, McGregor had not been released and is still working on a comeback for the UFC’s upcoming 4th of July card next year.

Dana White also shut down the rumor that McGregor had been released by the UFC.

Earlier this week, White spoke about believing McGregor when he says he wants to fight again.

“I trust Conor,” White told The Jim Rome Show. “Conor McGregor has never, ever — unless he is seriously injured — this guy has always delivered. Jon, I’m a little more skeptical about.”

McGregor has been adamant that he plans to return next year, and has already submitted his first sample to be drug tested.
