TNT’s Craig Sager is one of the most beloved sports reporters in the industry today. In 2014, Sager’s life changed forever when he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, but that didn’t stop the veteran reporter from the working the sidelines while publicly battling the disease.
To honor Sager’s courage, ESPN presented him with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the 2016 ESPYS.
