Adrian Peterson was arrested over the weekend on child abuse charges for hitting his four year old son with a “switch” and leaving multiple cuts and bruises. On Sunday’s NFL Countdown Cris Carter had an emotional take on child abuse and disciplining children with aggression.
“This is the 21st century! My mom was wrong. She did the best she could, but she was wrong about some of that stuff she taught me. And I promise my kids, I won’t teach that mess to them.”
Carter also went on to rip the NFL on its handling of the Ray Rice situation.
