It’s only week, 1 and NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth is already annoying fans.
On Sunday night, Collinsworth was in the booth alongside Mike Tirico for the Rams-Lions game.
Late in the fourth quarter, Collinsworth was amazed by a Matthew Stafford throw that he called the “throw of the year.”
“This may be the throw of the year… How does Stafford even see the guy down the field, much less falling backwards, fadeaway jumper, no-look, whatever the heck that was, and complete that 3rd down pass?! That is ridonkulous right there! Wow!”

Fans were annoyed with Collinsworth’s “pass of the year” comment.
