It’s hard to imagine a better month than October on so many different levels. Great baseball — Cubs and Indians making history. Great football, both college and NFL. Great birthday parties. Great TV with shows like Westworld giving people something to talk about around the watercooler.
This Cubs fan was living his best life on Saturday night after the Cubbies punched their ticket to the World Series. It is his golden god moment, one that luckily didn’t end up with him paralyzed in a body cast thanks to strangers being cool below him.
I hope he remembers the moment for forever… kinda like the herpes of memories.
