The UFC is going to Qatar.

On Wednesday, the UFC announced a partnership with Visit Qatar and revealed the promotion will hold its first UFC event in the country on November 22nd.

UFC CEO Dana White discussed the deal with Qatar with media members in New York.

“Like I said, we’re going everywhere, and we’ve been in Abu Dhabi for a long time now, and we’re starting to move around. “Qatar has been one that we’ve been working on for a couple of years now, and we finally got it done.”

“The UFC has been a staple in Abu Dhabi for a long time and I think they’ve looked at Abu Dhabi and seen the success that they’ve had there and then Saudi and Azerbaijan. I’ve been wanting to go to Qatar for a long time and I’m looking forward to it.”

CEO of Visit Qatar, Abdulaziz Ali Al-Mawlawi, released a statement on the deal with the UFC via a press release
