Dana White’s Zuffa boxing already has a media rights deal in place before it launches.

Before this year’s Canelo/Crawford fight, White spoke to Inside The Ring about how he plans to “fix boxing” by trying to turn it into an “NFL or NBA” type league.

White says that he will try to bring the Contender Series format to boxing.

“Basically, in 2026, I’m going to start my show, and what I’m going to do is basically like Contender Series,” White told Vegas PBS. “The best will fight the best, undefeated guys will fight undefeated guys, and what you will do is you will care about the first fight of the night, and not just the main event. So I will build stars, put on great fights, and then these guys will graduate and fight with Sheik Turki.”

On Monday, White’s Zuffa boxing, a partnership between TKO, SELA, and Turki Alalshikh, announced that it had signed a media rights deal with Paramount, months before launching the new boxing league.

“Beginning in January 2026, Paramount will exclusively distribute a full slate of Zuffa Boxing events starting with 12 action-packed cards, with plans to grow that number in subsequent years. The bouts will be available via Paramount’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform Paramount+, with the potential for select events to be simulcast on CBS, America’s leading broadcast network, and other Paramount platforms.”

White spoke about the new deal with Paramount on CBS Sports.
