Shedeur Sanders’ NFL debut is bad news for the rest of the Cleveland Browns’ QB room. Earlier this week, Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Sanders would be the starting QB in the team’s first preseason game after several of the team’s QBs went down with injury.

Before the game, Stefanski spoke about what he expected in Sanders’ first game.

“My expectations for Shedeur are no different than the rest of the guys, honestly,” Stefanski said. “We expect him to go operate. When you get into these preseason games, you try and keep it very simple so guys can play fast. All concepts that our players know and not think too much and just play ball.”

Sanders was quick to impress in his NFL debut after throwing for two touchdowns in the first half of the game.

During the game, a sideline shot showed a depressed looking Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel watching Sanders play.
