Dolphins QB Teddy Bridgewater Out Due To New Concussion Protocol Despite Passing Concussion Tests

The NFL is being extra cautious with QBs after the Tua Tagovailoa situation.

On Sunday, Teddy Bridgewater left the game early after taking a big hit.

After the play, Bridgewater was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for an elbow and head injury.

The CBS broadcast would later report that Bridgewater was ruled out due to the new concussion protocol, even though he passed all concussion tests.

The new concussion protocol was just implemented on Saturday and doesn’t allow players to return to the game if they suffer from Ataxia or gross motor instability.
