After going down with an injury early in the season and losing his starting job to Jay Ajayi in the backfield it seems like the former Texans running back thought it was probably best to call it quits.
Today, Foster announced his retirement via Bleacher Reports Uninterrupted
So Dolphins RB Arian Foster, on Uniterrupted, announces his retirement effective immediately.

Foster only carried the ball three times in the Dolphins game on Sunday. The same game that saw Jay Ajayi get 28 touches for 200 yards.
