Two golf influencers have gotten into beef on TikTok. The feud started with Tyler Hamilton (@hammy.golf) claiming that influencer Dylan Block (@pootycuts) is lying about his scores.
“I am sick and tired of seeing this Dylan Block kid run his mouth on the internet,” Hamilton says in his video, which has accrued 2.1 million views. “His ego is so big, and I don’t know where it came from or what he has to back it up. Maybe it’s from daddy’s Slam Dunk, daddy’s fame and success. I don’t know.”
Who Is Block’s Father?
Block’s father, Michael Block, is a professional golfer who made a hole-in-one slam dunk at the PGA Championship in 2023.
In 2018, at 13 years old, Dylan caddied for his father at the 100th PGA Championship. Five years later, in 2023, he catapulted into the spotlight after his dad’s success due to his viral videos of his impressive club speed.
“Block Jr’s shot recorded a whirlwind speed of 132.7 mph. To put it in context, the PGA Tour’s leading club head hitter has an average club head speed of 126.42 mph, which is less than Dylan’s efforts,” EssentiallySports reported. The overall tour average is lower at 115.21 mph, further displaying Block’s skill, though “tour players are required to play with an emphasis on control, which can affect their club head speeds.”
In 2023, he teamed up with a friend to qualify for the USGA Amateur Four-Ball Championship. Prior, at the U.S. Open local qualifying, he “cruised past the competition with a 68.” However, when the time came, Dylan and his father both failed to qualify for a spot in the tournament.
Block Vs. Hamilton
Back to Hamilton’s problem with him.
“I literally see a new video of this kid every single day shooting some outrageous score, like eight under, 10 under,” he says. “And then he goes out the next day and beats it.”
He claims that’s easy to do if Block is rehitting his putts.
“I mean, I’m a freaking golf influencer, dude,” he says. “I know how this works. You hit a bad shot, you redo it, whatever—there’s nothing wrong with it. Just don’t lie to your audience on the internet.”
He questions what Block would gain from lying and says it’s actually hurting the other golfer. “You just go out in a tournament; you shoot, what, 78? And he makes a video talking about, ‘Oh, the course is rated at 78.’ OK? … It just doesn’t add up.”

‘My Two Dads Are Fighting’
In the comments section, many people didn’t know who Dylan was. One questioned how they got to “golf tea TikTok,” and another questioned the existence of golf influencers altogether. However, those who were familiar with Dylan agreed there was something fishy going on.
“Claims he’s a +8 and shot +1 at an actual tournament. Dude just lies,” one said.
A second questioned, “Is he just wasting his potential why isn’t he a pro yet and why did he skip college if he’s this good? He just plays his dad’s country club everyday.”
“If he was that good he’d be winning big boy tournaments,” another said.
Block Responds
On his own TikTok account, Block issued a response to Hamilton’s claims.
“So I just saw Hammy Golf’s callout video,” he says in his clip, which has accrued 123,100 views. “Now, this makes me so ‘terrified’ from someone who’s shorter than my girlfriend. … I’ve never redone a shot or cheated or anything in my life, so I’ll reinstate your call out. … I thought we were friends. I thought you liked me, but by the end of this, the only thing you’re gonna need to get off your chest is a wet rag to clean yourself up.”

‘This Screams Insecurity Pal’
In the comments section of Block’s video, viewers criticized him and sided with Hamilton.
“I bet you are good at golf man but boy u are just so unlikable,” one said.
“Lost a lot of respect for you man. Handled that like a baby,” a second wrote.
“Yeah this guy is mad insecure and retakes shots,” a third said.
At least one commenter under both golfers’ videos said the two were actually friends, which Block himself admitted.
In response to a viewer who questioned whether the two golfers had a video together, another commenter guessed, “This is all a publicity stunt. Like when 2 rapper are beefing and putting out diss tracks, raking in millions lol.”
The two have at least two Instagram Reels together.
As Block said to close out his video, the ball is back in Hamilton’s court. Only time will tell how the beef will play out.
