Early in the third quarter of the Denver-St. Louis game, Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders laid out for a pass and got crushed by the Rams’ defensive back Rodney McLeod. McLeod was called for a helmet-to-helmet penalty, even though it looked like it was a shoulder-to-shoulder hit.
Sanders got up and walked immediately to the locker room.
