It appears that former LSU head coach Ed Orgeron is getting closer to return to the sidelines.
During a recent interview, Coach O said that he’s beginning to get the itch to coach again, and is just waiting for the right availability.
“All depends what the best thing available is, but I’m ready to coach again. I left a little bit of meat on the bone. I’m ready to go.”

According to ON3’s Pete Nakos, Orgeron has been in contact with Arkansas to take over as head coach of the program. Coach O has also been linked to Oregon State, according to Nakos.

“Former LSU head coach Ed Orgeron has been in communication with Arkansas, sources tell On3. He’s also a name to know in the Oregon State search.”
While Arkansas is calling, Coach O has publicly stated that he would love to return to LSU.
“”Are you kidding me? Hey, I’m one phone call away,” Orgeron told ESPN radio last month. “I just gotta get in my truck; I could be there today.””I love LSU. I still got my home in Baton Rouge. I loved when I was coaching for coach [Les] Miles being the defensive line coach. I love the Tigers, and if I’m getting back into coaching, for sure I’d consider it. No doubt.”
