LeBron James is once again facing accusations that he’s using performance-enhancing drugs during his career.
While debating about which era of LeBron was the best, former NBA player Jeff Teague went viral when he relayed a rumor about the Lakers star.
According to Teague, LeBron was forced to sit out after the NBA began testing for HGH back over a decade ago.
“Miami Heat Bron, he was on steroids bro, he had to sit out because he was on steroids. Allegedly.”
“He had to sit out, when they started testing for HGH and he said his back was hurt and sat out for like three weeks and came back skinny. I was in the league and I remember. He came back and he was crazy.”
It is worth noting that DEA investigators have cleared James of any wrongdoing after two of his associates were investigated for possible links to the Biogenesis scandal.

“I can tell you that we looked into everything just because we knew this day would come…There was never any indication that LeBron James did anything wrong,” the lead DEA investigator said.
Fans immediately question Teague’s claims.
Teague got the seasons wrong and everything. Bron sit out 3 weeks 2014-15 season. He shouldn't be saying shit like that anyway https://t.co/fm8mxHEVqR

I don’t think LeBron missed 3 total weeks in his 4 years with the Heat https://t.co/TVeKIxaIAn

It’ll be interesting to see if James’ team forces Teague to apologize and retract his statement.
