Hana Moll and Amanda Moll both reached the podium in the women’s pole vault at the college track and field championships. Hana won. Her twin sister placed third behind Chloe Timberg of Rutgers.
Not only did Hana beat Amanda, she broke a record previously held by her wombmate!
Needless to say, the Moll sisters are legendary in the world of track and field. Hana put together one of the greatest pole vault seasons in NCAA history in 2025 but had to settle for silver behind Amanda throughout most of the year. She finally got one back on the biggest stage!
Hana got back on top of the podium to win her second national title overall and her first outdoors. It was a new Meet Record and a new NCAA Outdoor Record of 15-8.50— exactly one quarter-inch higher than Amanda’s previous NCAA Outdoor Record which she set at the Big Ten Championship.

It got dicey for a minute! Both sister missed their first two tries at 14-4 3/4. A third miss would’ve eliminated them from the competition. Amanda came up first with a clean jump to stay alive. Her twin followed right behind her in the order and she also cleared.
Hana did not miss again. Timberg could not keep pace.

Hana Moll technically won the national title at 15-2 3/4. Nobody else cleared on three tries. However, she asked the bar to be raised above Amanda’s college outdoor record and cleared on her first attempt.

With a second national championship and an NCAA record already secured, Hana Moll called it a day.
The Moll twins are sophomores. They still have two more years left in their college pole vault careers if they choose to use them. It sure seems like these two are going to keep trading collegiate records and national championships for the foreseeable future.
Amanda won indoor. Hana won outdoor. Only Timberg can stop them!
