Today, UFC President Dana White announced that Holly Holm will take a fight and defend her belt in the spring instead of waiting around for Ronda Rousey to heal up.

Holm knocked out Rousey back in November and while Dana White first insisted that Rousey would get an immediate rematch in July, it seems like he had a change of heart.
Gotta give it to Holly Holm here, this is a pretty ballsy move considering there’s a lot of financial risk for her if she loses. I like it.
