Vince McMahon is speaking out to defend his old friend Hulk Hogan. Last month, Hogan passed away at the age of 71, and while some mourned his death, others continued to criticize him over his past racist comments.
During a rare interview with TMZ, McMahon defended Hogan over his past racist comments.
“I knew he wasn’t a racist. I’d been with him for so many years. He wasn’t a racist. He said some racist things, and he should pay for that, and he did, but in the end, I think everyone saw the real Hulk Hogan, and said Wait a minute, this guy doesn’t act like a racist, he’s not a racist. We all make mistakes, and that was a big one. He’s not a racist.”
Vince McMahon said the reason he brought Hulk Hogan back to WWE was because he knew Hogan wasn’t racist.
