Caitlin Clark and the rest of the Indiana Fever gave the Atlanta Dream crowd a little taste of their own medicine after the were booed off the court following the team’s series-clinching Game 3 win. In response to the chorus of boos, Clark and the rest of the Fever held up the letter “W” with their fingers.
Caitlin Clark, who has been on the sidelines since suffering a groin injury on July 15, appeared in just 13 games this season, last taking the floor for the Indiana Fever on July 15. In those 13 games, Clark averages 16.5 points, 8.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Despite not having the services of Clark, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, and veteran guard Sophie Cunningham, who is also sidelined for the rest of the season with an injury, the Indiana Fever were able to get passed the Atlanta Dream in the first round of the WNBA playoffs, winning the series 2-1.

On their way out of the arena, Atlanta Dream fans made sure to let the Fever know how they really felt, raining down boos on the Fever’s roster. The Fever seemed to revel in it, however, and swiftly responded in kind,

In the WNBA Playoffs semi-finals, the Fever will be taking on the Las Vegas Aces and three-time league MVP A’Ja Wilson.
On the other side of the WNBA Playoff bracket, the #1 overall seed Minnesota Lynx will take on the winner of the first round series between the Phoenix Mercury and New York Liberty, which is tied at 1-1 ahead of Friday night’s decisive Game 3 in Arizona at 9 p.m. EST.
