Women’s boxing champ Claressa Shields is the latest person to call out Jake Paul. Two weeks ago, Paul fought Mike Tyson in a fight seen by over 60 million viewers on Netflix, and it seems like everyone wants a piece of the Youtuber-turned-boxer.

While speaking with TMZ, an unimpressed Shields said that she’s confident that she could beat up Paul in the boxing ring.

“I don’t think Jake Paul has the skills to get inside the ring with me,” said Shields. “Or any of the guys at 154 pounds and up who is ranked in the rankings. I’m not gonna lie to you. 1-10.”

Shields made similar comments about beating Paul in a boxing match back in 2021.

“I’m real boxer, I can beat up Jake Paul at the weight class that I am in right now.”

Shields went on to praise Paul for bringing more eyeballs to the sport.

“He’s bringing more eyes to the sport and that’s what you need,” Shields said. “Hopefully everybody who is involved on that side can keep building from that and also create a real blueprint to where it can be used for generations to come.”
