“The Dallas Cowboys traded four-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday.”

“In exchange, the Cowboys received three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round draft picks (2026 and 2027.”

Parsons immediately signed a massive four-year, $188 million contract with the Packers that includes $120 million fully guaranteed at signing.

After the trade, Jones held a press conference to justify trading away Parsons.

“This gives us a chance to be a better team than we’ve had the last several years.”

“We gained a Pro Bowl player in an area where we had big concerns on the inside of our defense….we did think it was in the best interest for our organization for the future and this season as well.”…we can win without Micah, in our minds, more than had we gone the other route and signed. That’s not a negative on Micah. He’s just unique.”

Cowboys fans ripped Jones to shreds over his comments.

Even media members think Jones has lost his mind.

We’ll have to wait and see if Jones’ gamble pays off, but as of now, everyone thinks he made a huge mistake.
