Based on everything we know about Jim Harbaugh, it makes sense that he would be a lover of dad jokes. The Los Angeles Chargers head coach is corny in a lovable way, and he knows it.
Harbaugh is never shy to crack a joke or two at a press conference, and that’s exactly what he did on Wednesday just a few days before the team takes on the Tennessee Titans.
The Los Angeles Chargers are off to a great start of the Jim Harbaugh tenure. Many thought it would be essentially a rebuild. But, they look like a team that absolutely could make the playoffs at 5-3. They’re playing fantastic defense, are committed to running the ball, and the passing offense is growing each game. Most importantly, it’s clear every game that the Chargers are a well-coached football team under Jim Harbaugh and his staff. It’s a big change from Brandon Staley, that’s for sure.
Chargers fans are really liking Harbaugh, both for his coaching and for his personality. He put that personality on display with the most classic dad joke in the book on Wednesday.

This is a guy that once said he doesn’t eat chicken because it’s a “nervous bird”. Earlier this year, Jim Harbaugh said that he decided to take his wife out for a date due to the team having a good practice. He’s always been pretty goofy.
Let’s hope he stays in coaching for a long time, because he’s a viral moment machine.
