Kay Adams is one of the most popular talents in the NFL media world, and as a result, she routinely has marquee names from around the National Football League on her show Up & Adams. This week, NFL running backs JK Dobbins (Los Angeles Chargers) and James Cook (Buffalo Bills) were guests on the show and found themselves being clowned on for cheesing their way through their interviews.

While Kay Adams’ peer Taylor Rooks has been known to get athletes to act a bit out of pocket during interviews — the most famous example being Jaylen Brown telling her he’s going to win “five or six” NBA titles — Adams clearly also seems to have that affect on athletes, at least as far as social media is concerned.

In a viral post on X, formerly Twitter, an NFL fan noticed that Dobbins was showing “all 32” of his teeth during his interview with Kay Adams.

Bills running back James Cook, gearing up for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, was similarly clowned on by the football world, as a viral response to a clip from his interview pointed out that the former Good Morning Football host has “these players weak in the knees every single [time].

“Every time an athlete gets interviewed by Kay Adams, they look like the happiest person to ever live,” one sports fan simply summarized.

“Any time an athlete gets interviewed by Kay Adams they’re smiling bigger than when they won the biggest game of their career,” added another.

Adams is obviously aware of the affect she has on some people, as she’ll occasionally repsond to people making aggressive comments about her looks — and even her smell — on social media.
