UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones doesn’t seem interested in coming back to fight anytime soon. A few weeks ago, UFC CEO Dana White stated that he believed Jones would fight in 2025, amid negotiations for Jones to fight UFC heavyweight interim champion Tom Aspinall.

“Jon Jones will fight in 2025, 100%. Jon Jones definitely wants the fight. Now we’re working on when and where. I’m very confident that fight will happen”

Over 185,000 fans have signed a petition to strip Jones of his title, but it doesn’t seem like he cares.

On Thursday, UFC fans chanted “strip Jon Jones” during the UFC 316 press conference in New Jersey.

“I spoke to the UFC a long time ago about what my future plans were. I haven’t worked out since my last fight in NYC. I believe it’s in the UFC’s best interest to keep presenting me as the champion-not Tom.”

The UFC heavyweight champ does not think Aspinall is a worthy contender for him.

“Unfortunately, my boy is not as special as his fan base thinks he is right now.”

“I remember like it was yesterday. three years since anyone saw me fight. The mass amount of critics “ Jones looks so old now, He’s too slow now. Gane going to be too fast, Jones has never faced someone this big, he’s never faced a kickboxer of this caliber.”

“The French and the casuals were convinced Gane was the future of the heavyweight division.”

“I showed up. I won. Then? Crickets.:
