Jordon Hudson was on the sideline with Bill Belichick prior to Saturday’s college football game between North Carolina and UCF. She also chatted with multiple coaches who are not her boyfriend.
The optics are unusual, to say the least.
I don’t know the dynamics of their relationship nor do I care. No other coach in college football invites his wife or significant other onto the field before games, nor do I think they want to be there. It’s weird!
Jordon Hudson does what she wants.
This is not the first time we have seen Hudson on the field. She was way too involved with UNC’s day-to-day operations during spring practice. She supposedly plays a role with the Tar Heels’ social media and often walks around the sidelines during practice.
However, this is the first time we have seen Hudson specifically pull Bill Belichick aside during warmups during the regular season. I would love to know what they were talking about.

The optics aren’t great. Especially because her cheeks were out for the boys.
It would be one thing if Jordon Hudson stopped by for a quick chat and then left the field. A quick good luck kiss would not be worthy of criticism.
It gets weird when she lingers…
To have the (much younger) girlfriend of the head coach on the field talking to various staffers who are not Bill Belichick is truly unusual behavior. The whole situation reminds me a lot of Sandra Bullock in The Blindside.
I am happy to hold my full judgement on North Carolina until the end of the season. It is going to take a few years for Belichick to build his program in Chapel Hill. That’s fine. Give him time!
Jordon Hudson still needs to chill. Game day is not about you, boo.
