The drama surrounding North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick and 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson continues to grow. Things have gotten messy thanks to a recent CBS interview.
The conversation was initially meant to promote Belichick’s book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. The storyline quickly began to center around Hudson.
A clip was posted to social media showing some behind-the-scenes interaction from the segment. At one point, Hudson interjected to shut down a question about how her relationship with the head coach began.
“We’re not talking about this.”

The response led to questions about that initial meeting, which the couple still claims to have been on an airplane ride in 2021. Doubts have since arisen on the timelines of their dating history.
Later reports from the CBS interview further detailed Hudson’s ‘baffling’ behavior, which included multiple delays, question refusals, and her eventual storming off set.
Jordon Hudson provided followers with her and Belichick’s side of the story on social media. She insisted that the moderator knew that their relationship was off-limits. She also teased the release of a full statement in the coming days.
That statement came on Wednesday.
Bill Belichick responded to criticism surrounding his CBS interview.
That message was provided by the UNC Office of Communications this week. Belichick blamed CBS while supporting his girlfriend. He, too, said the relationship was off-limits. Hudson was simply doing her job by “ensuring the interview stayed on track.”
“I agreed to speak with CBS Sunday Morning to promote my new book, ‘The Art of Winning – Lessons from My Life in Football.’ Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book.
“Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book. After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion. She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appear as though we were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.
“The final eight-minute segment does not reflect the productive 35-minute conversation we had, which covered a wide range of topics related to my career. Instead, it presents selectively edited clips and stills from just a few minutes of the interview to suggest a false narrative – that Jordon was attempting to control the conversation – which is simply not true.”

The wording and defiant support of Hudson had many questioning whether or not Belichick actually wrote the note. Many believed Hudson was, indeed, the scribe. We’ll never know. UNC won’t tell us!
BroBible reached out to North Carolina for clarity. The Tar Heels refused to give it. A staffer suggested the question be directed to Belichick, himself. They would not provide a contact number or transfer the call.
Jordon Hudson’s involvement in the program continues to be a distraction. New reports say that she played an integral role squashing an HBO Hard Knocks feature at Chapel Hill. She’s been heavily involved in practice sessions and email communications though her role with the program is still unclear.
Her latest actions have those at the university worried. There are some suggesting the school part ways before Bill Belichick’s first season.
The optics continue to go from bad to worse with four months still left in the offseason.
