The Pittsburgh Steelers are pretty devoid of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. But, when he’s in the right headspace, George Pickens can be that guy for the Steelers.
That was not the case on Sunday. George Pickens was pretty much a non-factor in the team’s embarrassing 20-17 loss to a depleted Dallas Cowboys squad on Sunday Night Football, and Cowboys corner Jourdan Lewis let Pickens know just what he thought of him after the game.
Pickens came into Sunday’s game with 20 catches for 284 yards, on a 1000-yard pace for the season. But, Dallas made things tough for not just him but the entire Steeler passing game. He finished with just 3 catches on 7 targets for 26 yards.
He also did this at the end of the game, getting tangled up with Lewis, the Cowboys’ veteran.

All in all, a game that George Pickens wants to forget about. But, Jourdan Lewis kept talking trash after the game was over.

Pickens, who is a notorious hot-head, surely won’t take too kindly to being talked about like that.
But, when you and your secondary mates hold him to a game like he had on Sunday, you can talk some trash.
