Maryland forward Julian Reese did not shy away from talking smack toward Nebraska fans during his college basketball game in Lincoln on Thursday night. The little brother of Angel Reese picked up a technical foul for chirping at the crowd during a crucial moment of the second half.
Fortunately, it did not cost the Terrapins in the long run!
Maryland continued its impressive college basketball season with an eight-point road victory, its 19th of the year. Reese, a senior, finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds during a statement win over the pesky Cornhuskers.

He also got T’d up.
Reese and Derik Queen embraced the hostile crowd from the moment they walked out of the tunnel. They did not shy away from confrontation.

Reese at one point went to the free throw line with approximately 13 minutes remaining during the second half. Nebraska’s crowd went bonkers, especially the student section, after he missed the first of two shots from the charity stripe. A second miss would’ve “won” them a free chicken sandwich through an in-game with Chick-Fil-A. He knocked it down and silenced the crowd— literally.
Reese ran right by the student section, held out his left hand and told them to hush up.

Even though the fans did not get free chicken in that exact moment, they later succeeded in their heckling. Reese missed a pair of free throws with five minutes left.
The officials also slapped him with a technical foul shortly after he taunted the students. Reese made a layup to end a nearly five-minute scoring drought and immediately ran his mouth toward the crowd. It is unclear as to what he said but it did not fly. Nebraska got two shots and the ball.
Julian Reese, the little brother of Angel Reese, was subject to a large amount of criticism for how he conducted himself on Thursday night. He does not care because Maryland keeps winning!
