Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is a promoter now, and he’s ready to take on the UFC head-on.
On Thursday, Nurmagomedov held a press conference to promote the Eagle FC 47 main event between former UFC fighters Kevin Lee and Diego Sanchez.
During the presser, Khabib fired a warning shot at the UFC when he said they better treat their fighters good or they’ll lose them to Eagle FC.
“UFC and Bellator, they better be careful with their fighters because Eagle FC is here, and of course, we are trying to sign good athletes, great athletes with good names…I just want to say they be careful, if they don’t treat good their fighters, Eagle FC is here.”
Nurmagomedov’s comments come days after disgruntled UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou criticized the UFC for treating him poorly.
