As the soon-to-be in-laws of the world’s foremost power couple, both Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie have been thrust front and center into the global spotlight in the last couple years.

While Jason is used to it, as a former star for the Philadelphia Eagles and future Pro Football Hall of Famer, Kylie seems to be coming into her own as a public figure as well.

In December of 2024, Kylie launched her own podcast, entitled “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce.” The show quickly became popular, with more than 400,000 subscribers on YouTube.

During the most recent episode, Kylie expanded on life as an NFL wife, and explained one simple rule she gave to Jason while he was playing.

Kylie Kelce Made It Abundantly Clear To Jason That He Cannot Get In Fights

Kylie spoke at length about handling finances for her and Jason. One of the points she says she routinely reiterated to Jason was that he was not, under any circumstances, supposed to get into a fight on the field, because that would result in an automatic fine or suspension.

“What I did often, often remind him, was that if a fight broke out, that he better keep all 10 of his piggy toes on the outside of that field,” she said while discussing the player fines in NFL. “Because you wanna know another way they pop you? If you so much as step a foot onto that field when you were not previously on that field, while there is a fight happening, even if you went out there to break it up: Fine. Fine dollars out of your pocket into the NFL’s.”

Despite being one of the league’s best offensive linemen for a decade-plus, Kelce was always relatively mild-mannered. So it would have taken some sort of big deal for him to jump into a fight.

That being said, it never hurts to have someone there to remind you. And Kylie made it extremely clear what the house rules were regarding in-game fights.
