Lane Kiffin Has Reportedly Given His Staff An Ultimatum Before Leaving For LSU Ahead Of College Football Playoffs

Lane Kiffin is apparently on his way out of Ole Miss and is trying to take as much of his staff with him to LSU.

On Saturday night, ON3 reported that Kiffin intends to sign with LSU in the coming days.

The report also states that Kiffin reportedly wanted to finish the season at Ole Miss and threatened to poach players/staff if he was not allowed to coach during the playoffs.

Lane Kiffin is “essentially demanding to finish the season (w/Ole Miss) while simultaneously threatening to poach” Ole Miss’ roster & staff if he can’t, source told @On3sports “It’s unfortunately gotten even messier than expected as emotions are high”

On Sunday, Kiffin reportedly gave some of his staff ultimatums before his move to LSU.

The Tigers have a press conference scheduled for Monday to officially introduce Lane Kiffin as its next head coach.

Ole Miss defensive coordinator Pete Golding is expected to take over for Kiffin during the college football playoffs.

Update: Kiffin left Ole Miss with four coaches, including offensive coordinator Charlie Weiss Jr.
