LeBron James is publicly firing shots at Stephen A. Smith. Two weeks ago, LeBron went viral when he confronted Smith on the sidelines during a Lakers game.
Since then, Smith has appeared on various media outlets, including Fox News, to discuss his incident with LeBron.
“He thought that I was insulting his son when, in fact, that is not what I was doing… He confronted me, it’s his prerogative.”

On Wednesday, LeBron appeared on the Pat McAfee show and mocked Smith’s recent press run.
“He’s like on a Taylor Swift run right now, he literally started off “I didn’t want to address it, but since the video came out I feel the need to address it”, like motherf–er are you kidding me? If there’s one person who couldn’t wait until the video dropped to address it, is your a–”
LeBron also talked about why he confronted Smith.
“He completely missed the whole point, never would I ever not allow people to criticize players about what they do on the court. That’s your job to criticize or to be in a position if a guy is not performing, that’s all part of the game, but when you take it and get personal with it, it’s my job to not only protect my damn household, and to protect my players.”
The Lakers superstar knows that Smith is enjoying the fact that he’s being talked about on McAfee’s show.
‘I know he’s going to be happy as hell, he’s going to be smiling from ear to ear when he hears me talking about him. He’s going to get home and grab some ice cream from the f-ng freezer and sit in his tighty whiteys on the couch.”
