Lee Corso wrapped up his career on “College Gameday” in Week 1 of the 2025 football season. He was perfect on his final picks, much to the delight of sports bettors.

The “Lee Corso Parlay” cashed with near 200-to-1 odds. It made for a perfect ending in his college football exit.

Corso has been with ESPN since 1987 when he first joined a then-small operation that’s now become the sport’s premiere pregame show.

The former college player and coach was a star of the program, with his weekly headgear picks headlining each episode.

Each Saturday, the crew would make its college football predictions. Corso would end the show by donning the head of a mascot whose school was participating in the “College Gameday” game of the week.

After nearly four decades with the network, he walked away in 2025. His farewell came in the form of a season opening episode which became the most-watched edition in the pregame show’s history.

The finale was a perfect sendoff in more ways than one. Not only did the crew do a fantastic job of honoring the host, but he went a spotless 6-0 in his college football picks!

The ‘Lee Corso Parlay’ cashed.

Corso made six picks in his final “College Gameday” appearance. He hit on every game, which included a trio of upsets.

The host chose Ohio State, LSU, Tennessee, South Carolina, Miami, and Florida State. Many viewers watching along at home quickly combined those predictions into a parlay.

Tyler Lauletta of Sports Illustrated was one follower to lock in the bet, which had 190-to-1 odds. He chose South Carolina and Tennessee to cover spreads while taking the other four teams on the money line.

The Vols covered as a two-touchdown favorite. The Gamecocks did the same at -7. The other four teams won outright, with Miami cashing the bet on a Sunday night upset of Notre Dame.

There wasn’t much faith in the “Lee Corso Parlay” from his “College Gameday” supporting cast. No one picked Florida State to beat Alabama. The crew was split on Miami v. Notre Dame, LSU v. Clemson, and Ohio State v. Texas.

Corso hit them all, and it paid dividends for those that tailed.
