Influencer and model Livvy Dunne, the girlfriend of Pittsburgh Pirates ace pitcher Paul Skenes, was in attendance at the P’s game against the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday night and went through a gauntlet of emotions.
After tossing six scoreless innings (with seven strikeouts), Paul Skenes officially concluded the season with a 1.97 ERA, making him the first Pittsburgh Pirates player in the Live Ball Era to finish the season with a sub-2.00 ERA.
The Pirates also won the game in extra innings, dealing a blow to the Cincinnati Reds’ NL Wild Card playoff chances, as they remain 1-game behind the New York Mets for the final postseason berth.
During the game, Livvy Dunne — who has been a frequent presence at Skenes’ games this year — could be seen going through all the emotion as her boyfriend pitched his final game of the 2025 season.

“Livvy Dunne is my kind of baseball fan. Agonizing on every pitch. She’s locked in. Imagine what her reactions would be watching Paul Skenes in actual Pirates playoff game,” one viral tweet said.
After the game, Dunne took to social media to praise her boyfriend for having the “best season” she’s ever seen.

“Yeah, I got a hundredth worse than last year,” Skenes said after the game. “I’m actually worse than I was last year. I’m just kidding. It’s cool. I don’t come into the year with any numerical goals or anything like that, any stat goals, but it’s a product of doing what you’re supposed to do.”
This season, Skenes — the 2024 NL Rookie of the Year and two-time All-Star (in his first two seasons) — went 10-10 and had a 1.97 ERA and 0.95 WHIP to go along with 216 strikeouts.
