Somehow, despite appearing in multiple incriminating videos, Raja Jackson, the son of MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has still not been charged with any crimes for viciously beating pro wrestler Syko Stu (real name: Stuart Smith). Raja Jackson hit Stu with more than 20 unanswered punches to the face, most, if not all, after Stu was unconscious. People have called the act everything from aggravated assault to attempted murder. The attack was only stopped when other wrestlers dragged Raja off the downed body of Stu, otherwise the damage could have ended up even worse than it was.

An online petition is now asking for the Los Angeles Police Department to arrest Raja Jackson. As of Thursday morning, almost 5,000 people had signed it.

“The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed it has launched a criminal investigation into the incident, with potential charges under consideration, including felony assault and attempted murder. Despite the seriousness of the attack and the clear video evidence, no arrest has yet been made,” the petition reads.

“We, the undersigned, urge the LAPD to act swiftly and decisively in this case. Allowing such a violent incident to go unanswered undermines public trust in law enforcement and sends the wrong message about accountability for acts of violence.

“Stuart Smith and his family deserve justice. Our community deserves reassurance that violent acts will be met with appropriate legal action. We call on the LAPD to pursue charges and take the necessary steps to ensure accountability in this case.”

WWE star Logan Paul says Raja Jackson should be in jail

This week on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul called for Raja Jackson to be arrested. He was unequivocal in that stance.

“He belongs in jail. I firmly, 10,000% believe he belongs in jail,” said Paul. “Assault is an understatement. He tried to kill a man. And it was live-streamed on his Kick channel.

“Because you are an angry young man who has a lot of pent-up aggression and you think people are playing with you, or whatever your interpretation of life is that’s happening or however you were treated in your life, that doesn’t mean you get to get in a ring and beat up a performer. A performer… it’s a situation where, okay, I’m a professional wrestler. I saw this. I know what it’s supposed to look like. Dude, you’re in there trusting each other to put on a performance and make something look good and entertaining.

“To completely go off script and try to f—— kill someone is insane. It’s criminal. It’s criminal behavior. I couldn’t believe what I was watching when I saw the video. Twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two punches.”

It could have gone much worse if others hadn’t intervened

Logan Paul went to talk about what could have happened if wrestlers like Douglas Malo and Elias Lopez hadn’t pulled Raja Jackson off of Stuart Smith.

“Syko Stu thought that when Raja walked up, he was working in character,” said Paul, “because he saw a camera and was building the bit. It seemed like he was building backstage beef in the form of what’s called a ‘work,’ as we know. Syko Stu also is a Army veteran. He suffers from PTSD. Which makes this whole thing 100% worse. Then later a different amateur wrestler told Raja, ‘Get your receipt.’ Which in wrestling terms means not just slam him, hit him for real. If someone gets you for real, you collect the receipt.”

Paul continued, “A guy tried to pull him off and he was still fighting back! He was about to fight the guy who tried to pull him off! Dude, he low-key probably would have killed the f—— guy if he wasn’t yanked off. I thought I was watching someone try to commit murder. That’s what that video looked like.

“He tried to murder him. That’s what that video looked like. I thought I was about to watch someone try to commit murder.”
