McNeese State student manager Amir ‘Aura’ Khan is making a ton of money after becoming an Internet sensation. Last month, Khan went viral when he walked out of the tunnel holding a large Bluetooth boom box while rapping the lyrics to Lud Foe’s “In & Out” along with players.

“Not only did I know the song, but it is one of my favorite songs,” Khan told The Associated Press. “So yeah, I just rapped a few of the lyrics. Some of the players saw that I was rapping it and they just kind of hyped me up telling me, ‘Hey, just keep going, rap for us!’ We had the camera on us, but that’s usually not a new thing. So yeah, I just I just rapping and having fun with it.”

Since then, Khan has secured NIL deals with TickPick, Buffalo Wild Wings, TurboTax, and many other large bards.

According to his manager, Khan earned over six figures during the NCAA tournament.

Ahead of tomorrow’s second-round matchup against No. 4 Purdue, Khan will have secured around 10 to 12 NIL deals to date, according to Vial. Other companies include Epic Games’ Fortnite, TurboTax, Topps, PSD Underwear, artificial intelligence data analyst Formula Bot, Rock ‘Em Socks and GLD, an NCAA licensee of jewelry.

All told, they are collectively worth “north of six figures,” Vial said.

If McNeese State continues their Cinderella run during the NCAA tournament, Khan could make some serious bank.
