CJ Daniels appears to be ready to have a breakout season. After transferring from LSU to Miami, Daniels’ teammates have praised his work ethic, even when he’s not practicing.
“I think C.J. Daniels does a really good job of keeping the receivers on track,”said Canes offensive lineman Anez Cooper.“He is here early in the morning at six in the morning and has the receivers catching juggs. Even though he isn’t practicing, he makes sure all the receivers know what they are doing. I think he has been a good pick up and is bringing leadership to that receiver room.”
Daniels’ hard work paid off in the Canes’ season opener against Notre Dame. Before halftime, Daniels made an insane one-handed catch that is being declared the catch of the year.
