Kilian Korth won the Moab 240 Ultra Marathon last night with a 240-mile time of 2 days, 3 hours, and 28 minutes (moving time). He only stopped for 7 hours and 12 minutes in total at the Moab 240 and put dozens of miles between him and the field by the time he made it to the finish line. He made history as the only person to win the ‘triple crown’ of 200s.

By winning the Moab 240, Kilian Korth swept the ‘Triple Crown’ of 200+ ultras. Korth won the 2025 Tahoe 200 Endurance Run Race with a time of 52 hours, 40 minutes, and 52 seconds. The Tahoe race is 200.2 miles out and back with an elevation gain of 36,857’ and Kilian beat the field by over an hour.

In the second leg of the 200+ mile ultra marathon ‘Triple Crown,’ Kilian Korth went out and won the Bigfoot 200 Endurance Run. That race is 207.9 miles with an elevation gain of 45,563’. He completed the race in 45 hours, 3 minutes, and 41 seconds and only won by 42 minutes.

Kilian Korth Makes History At Moab 240

For those keeping track at home, that is 408.1 combined miles over the first two legs of the triple crown of 200’s. The Moab 240 is the final leg, the longest, and the most difficult.

This year the runners were beaten to a pulp by mother nature and had to run through a storm overnight which led to muddy race conditions, trench foot for some, and more.

Kilian Korth jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. He won the Moab 240 on Sunday night, crossing the finish line with a time of 58:45:47.

In doing so, he set a new combined Triple Crown of 200 Ultras record with a time of 156:30:20. The previous record was 162:00:51 held by Michael McKnight since 2019.

As if the combined record wasn’t enough, he became the first person to ever win all three 200 Ultras in one season. A truly unimaginable feat. And somehow he was still able to string together coherent thoughts and sentences after the race. He also shared a few clips like this one from out on the course:

After winning the Moab 2024, Korth said this was the greatest physical challenge he’s ever faced. When asked what the best part of the race was he remarked that it was sitting there, after winning, and being done with it… Can you blame him?

The Start

There are still dozens of runners out on the Moab 240 course seeking to finish today. Andy Glaze is one of them and he shared this video of their ‘oath’ from before the start of the race.

It’s amazing to see how bright-eyed and bushy tailed everyone is back on Day 1. Then you flash forward two days and they all look like they’ve been lost at sea for six months.

As of he time of writing, former U.S. Navy SEAL David Goggins is in 12th place after 199.3 miles and staring down the final stretch of the race. Goggins and Glaze are crowd favorites and have been all over the ultra running social media circles for days with everyone tracking their progress.

Live tracking can be found here on the Destination Trail website as most of the field seeks to finish the Moab 240 today.

They also have a live stream from the finish line up today:

Congratulations to everyone that competed in the Moab 240 this year!
