The Oklahoma City Thunder won the first NBA title of its OKC era by overcoming the Indiana Pacers by a score of 103-91 in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals.

After the game, once they were presented with their official championship gear, the hats give to the 2025 NBA champions went viral for how unremarkable they are.

The presentation of the 2025 NBA Finals was a frequent topic of conversation among fans, with many feeling that ABC and the NBA had stripped the event of its prestige.

“Ol f—— fisher price my first nba championship hat head a–,” one of the top replies joked.

“China trade war, can’t get the good stuff right now,” said another.

Michael Rubin and his Fanatic apparel company also seemed to draw some ire for fans, which has certainly been a trend in recent years.

“Fanatics and Michael Rubin ruined the apparel and now the sports card industry,” one NBA fan mused.

The Thunder were led in Game 7 by regular season and NBA Finals MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished the series-deciding content with 29 points, 12 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal, fittingly capping off one of the greatest individual and team seasons in NBA history (the Thunder’s 84 wins across the regular and postseason is the third most all-time alongside the 1996-97 Chicago Bulls).

With the 2025 season having just come to a close, the OKC Thunder now find themselves as the prohibitive favorites to win next year’s championship with current odds of +220. The next closest team, for example, are the Cleveland Cavaliers at +700.
