NFL Fashion Week 4: What Star Running Back Went Back To The Basics With Crisp White Nike Air Force 1 ’07?

Well, y’all, it’s a big week. After a brutal loss against Oregon in double OT, my alma mater, Penn State, plays UCLA at the Rose Bowl. Thanks to the USC and UCLA joining the BIG 10, we basically get a Penn State game in LA every year now, which feels like a bounty of riches. And that’s making me nostalgic for my college days at Happy Valley.

It also makes me nostalgic for the very first pair of Nike Air Force 1s. I bought a black leather pair at the old NikeLab 21 Mercer store in Soho, and, to this day, they remain one of my all-time favorite sneakers, purely for their simplicity. I think I actually wore them out of the store like a kid, even though I was 26 years old, that’s how much I loved them

I was stoked to see Saquon Barkley rocking a very crisp pair of all-white Nike Air Force 1 Lows in Tampa with some jorts. See the pic below. That Eagles win on Sunday was so nerve-wracking, I had to go for an eight-mile hike afterwards just to cool down.

Also, while we’re on the subject of Nike Air Force 1s, worth noting that these Nike Air Force 1 ’07 with a green swoosh are only $80.97 right now!

OK, without further ado, here are this week’s NFL fits:

The folks over at SoleRetriver spotted some NFL studs rocking some unique kicks. Go check ’em out!

In other NFL Week 4 fits…

Jalen Hurts wore Jordan 11 cleats that said “Jawn Air”

Micah Parsons in a dapper white pinstripe dude on his primetime return to Dallas as a Viking.

The Colts are rolling with a 4-0 start, and I loved seeing Jonathan Taylor show up in the tunnel with a “Win It For Jim” guitar honoring the late, great Jim Irsay. Big fan of the Colts “Angry Runs” scepter and shirt.

Quentin Johnston was giving off big crypto bro energy with that Satoshi Nakamoto Bank of Satoshi Jersey. It cost $1000, BTW.

Rams WR Puka Nacua is off to a crazy start, with a league-leading 503 receiving yards through four games. Cowboy Puka is a whole damn vibe. Can’t wait to see how he tops this against the 49ers on Thursday Night Football. Yeeehaw.
