Oregon went into West Lafayette for a college football game and put a beatdown on its new Big Ten opponent. The Ducks showed the utmost disrespect to Purdue during their blowout win on a chilly Friday night in October.
They were playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with fans in the crowd with time left on the clock!
There was a lot of hype around this unusual conference matchup. Oregon was fresh off of a massive win over Ohio State on a short week. Purdue often gets the nickname ‘Spoilermakers’ because the Boilermakers always seem to play the spoiler with a random win over a top-25 that nobody expected.
Perhaps the conversation about a potential top-five upset was too loud for this one to come to fruition. The Ducks scored 21 points in the first half and never looked back. They added a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter. They did not allow a single point.
Even though Oregon beat Purdue 35-0, the margin of victory probably should’ve been much larger.
It was such a dominant win that the players got bored during the fourth quarter. Sophomore tight end Kenyon Sadiq went over to the crowd and found the visitor’s section. He called over a young man for a moment he will never forget. They went blow-for-blow in a highly-competitive game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with five minutes still remaining in the game.
There's confident… and then there's playing rock paper scissors with the fans during the game 🤣 pic.twitter.com/wGqTSXhxST

That’s so demoralizing for the home team. The Boilermakers were losing so badly that their opponents stopped paying attention. Oregon had to keep itself entertained somehow!
Even the fans were more interested in Rock, Paper, Scissors than the game they paid hundreds of dollars and traveled hundreds of miles to attend. It doesn’t get much more savage than that right there.
Needless to say, the Ducks are feeling themselves!!
